2008 x star mastercraft salt water series

Good vs. Great

At first blush it would seem the qualities of "good" and "great" are kissing cousins separated by degrees. But the fact is, good is the enemy of great. Because it’s far too easy for humans to become satisfied and comfortable with good on the way to greatness, and never push harder. Enter the magnificent SSX-Star – a glowing example of never being satisfied with good enough.

The X-Star is already the king of the mountain. But we pushed harder to specifically design the SSX-Star to reinvent all the fun possibilities on saltwater. It’s engineered with corrosion-resistant components throughout, so you can laugh at salt while having the time of your life. In addition, it features a KGB ballast system that puts up those mojo wakes.

Of course, maximizing your potential on a board is not enough for the SSX-Star. It also makes the most of space with our SuperFly twin-tip bow, which creates a massive seating area up front. Plus, our ZeroFlex Flyer tower with patented swivel board racks gets all the tools of your trade out of the way.

At 22 feet long and with a 100-inch beam, the incredible SSX-Star has room for 12 people. None of whom will ever be satisfied with "good."
